O.k. so I was almost finished with my level when I read here somewhere that you can't go from City.wad to a level with another wad.
Doomed to stay in the city forever or did somebody work around it allready ??

We're waiting to find out about this....I fear it is one of those hard coded things with maybe no easy solution....in the meantime, just keep using the city.was to create different levels...you can always load up a different texture map. I know it is really limiting without the wall climb or the monkey swing, and I know I'm repeating myself, but sometimes imposed limitations actually inspire more creative solutions!

Hi,
there is no problem to change the WADs from level to level. What you have to take care of is the script file. If you trigger the level end the following script entry has to belong to the WAD you use next. You have to take care that some items can not be taken from one level to the next if they donīt exist in the following WAD.

Hope this helps

Uwe
