OK, thank you.
Just for your information: I know very well (cause thatīs my business) how much our servers can handle and how much would be too much. The problem is people wanting to upload their levels who do not want a site with many many ads and banners.
However providing fast and efficient servers (as http://www.levelworld.org) is a bit different from providing servers to upload levels.
I donīt know if youīre familiar with the badnwith problem and the additional costs?
Normally webspace hosters pay extra money for each megabyze or gigabyte transferred, so if there would be a 5MB level-download which would be downloaded 200 times (watch levelworld.org, this happens often!) this would be more than 1GB in about one or two weeks. But there are many many levels, so you may add the file sizes.
Each GB results in costs of more than 50-100 US$, so if you have letīs say 10GB in a month (which wouldnīt be much) you would have to pay up to 1000$ a month to provide your website to the users.
If you have a server with unlimited data transfer than you are not able to transfer so much data because these servers have a bandwidth restriction making it unable to download tons of data, so that way by offering the downloads on your own servers it would be fed up making it unable to access the site at all or very very slowly because of the many parallel downloads using the server bandwidth.
This is just to inform you WHY levelworld.org does NOT provide webspace for your levels. Therefore you get a fast and efficient site - and webspace for free use is available nearly everywhere for you

Thank you.

I do not know, because I am not the admin of trlevels.com.
Send your questions to webmaster@trlevels.com instead.
http://www.levelworld.org is up and running

Hi,

you should get a shorter download URL.
I doesnīt matter wether I add the level or you do it yourself - the database entry only accepts a maximum of 64 characters - this is by design and should work in the most cases.
So you might simply move your ZIP file to another directory on the server so that the full URL is not longer than 64 characters.
