I've just installed TR Level Editor on my laptop. It works fine except rotating the room once it has textures is really really slow, even with face edit offIP: Logged |

Hi Colin!Maybe your 'puter is too slow.I have an old Pentium II 400mhz desktop, and when I'm working on a large room(8+individual rooms)with a fiew baddies and face edit on,I too get some slowdown! My harddrive is taking the strain of 6 months build up of junk though.Spring cleaning season soon. ------------------ Made with orange and fine old cognac brandy! Thx 4 the replyThis happens the minute you apply your 1st texture and the screen then only updates about once every 20/30 seconds. Yet it will run the game fine which must be more demanding. IP: Logged |

Remember the TRLE was developed as a tool for in-house development of Tombraider 4; while the game itself is designed to run on most systems, even the slower ones with little graphical memory, a tool like this is not developed with such systems in mind. Then again, the 1.5Gigahertz systems with 1GB of 400Mhz RAM are already on the consumer-market, and it's getting increasingly difficult to purchase a computer that runs under 800Mhz. Best regards, Striffelbuur.
