I understand how to get the motor bike into the level, but is it possible to ride it with the blue sky and the hills in the background. When I play the level there is the greeney sky, but I want to create a day time outside level. Can anyone please tell me how it is done?IP: Logged |

Find the file called city.raw, if you edit the colour of this then run level convertor you will have new sky...that's what it says in the manual, but it doesn't tell you what to open it in.Col. ------------------ www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk IP: Logged |

I'm afraid you can't get rid of the night sky in city.was, although as stated, you can change the color. (Blue, orange, purple, etc., clouds floating over a black background.) If you want a daytime sky with the motorbike, you will have to download the newcity.wad. IP: Logged |

How do you even get the ugly green moving sky, or ANY sky / horizon in the levels you build. If i want sky, all i know how to do is make it night by not texturing the "sky textures" when I play the level, it appeared black.. however, this isn't good enough. also, when I place a horizon, it is a tiny object... please help.. I would REALLY like to make a horizon and a moving sky.

I will try and help you Almasy. While the FACE EDIT is on try applying the sky texture by clicking the upper left colour (which is white) on the colour palette. Add the textures to the 3D model. On the model they should appear white, even when you preview it I think. When you output the WAD make sure you are overwriting the same group of objects you are using, like if you use the City objects overwrite CITY.WAD (I think it is called that.) Then convert CITY.IP: Logged |

Almsay...first of all you have to choose a WAD that has the horizon graphics enabled. They are listed in the manual. Then, in order to see the sky graphics, you have to put transparent color on the walls and ceiling of the 'outside' rooms (it is the black square in the upper left corner of the palette beneath the editor window). The outside world section in the tutorial covers all this......IP: Logged |

The answer lies with the .raw file. Dump newcity.raw then make a copy of coastal.raw and rename it newcity.raw. The next time you make your newcity.TR4 you will have the matching blue sky. IP: Logged |
