Instructions for setting up a flyby sequence
The flyby camera is easy to set up if you follow a few simple rules
1: the first camera must always be pointed at lara
2: in the first cameras ocb (press the letter o when the camera is selected) turn on code bits 6, 9 and 10, this lets the camera snap back to lara when the sequence is finished.
3: you only need one trigger to start the sequence.
Okay lets get started
Lets do a flyby with three cameras.
Place the first camera two squares from the trigger and point it at the trigger itself, its a good idea to place the camera toward the room where you want it to go, make sure that the camera is selected and press the letter o to bring up the cameras ocb, if this is the first flyby sequence in your level then leave the seq number at zero. the cameras are numbered starting at zero and going up by one for each camera in the sequence so for the first camera leave the num at zero set the speed at 2 leave the timer at zero roll at zero and fov at 80 make sure you press enter after inputing each number then press code bits ( the fifteen number buttons at the bottom of the ocb screen) 6, 9 and 10 this tells the camera to snap back to lara at the end of the sequence. Click okay to close the ocb.
Place camera two about four or five squares behind the first one and point it in the direction where you want it to go, select the camera and press the letter o to bring up the ocb for the second camera and change num to 1 and speed to 2, you do not have to change anything else for the second camera, press okay to close the ocb.
Place the third camera the same way you did number two, point it at its destination select it and call up the ocb again change num to 2 speed to 1 timer to 500, you are pressing enter after each number right. Now if you want the camera to activate a heavy trigger turn on code bits 14 and 8, bit 8 tells the camera to hold its position until the timer counts down bit 14 tells it to activate a heavy trigger. I assume you know how to set up a heavy trigger. Press okay to close the ocb
Finally select the first camera again then click on your trigger square and press the pink trigger button and your all set.
Remember you can have as many flyby cameras in the sequence as you want but for each camera you have to enter its number in the num field of that cameras ocb. 0, 1, 2, 3 etc.
Hope this helps
