Ok. I know that lots of people had door and switch problems, but mine is different. How do I make a door open when three switches are pulled? They can be pulled in any order.Another door issue...I also want a classic door that opens when I pull a switch, and it did work, but suddenly stopped, and I can't for the life of me figure out why or how to get it back. This is what I did step by step (the one switch for a door problem) 1. Placed the switch 2. Placed the door 3. Clicked on the square the switch was on, clicked the pink box and laid the trigger for the door 4. Clicked in the field next to the door trigger pink box and changed the trigger type to switch 5. Played the level ...and the door won't open when I pull the switch! Other doors in my level used to work fine when triggered by a switch, but now even they are acting up. I don't have to pull the switch, just be on the square for them to open. That's not what I want. Please reply if you know what I'm doing wrong, or why everything stopped working. Thanks in advance, Raider [This message has been edited by Raider of Tombs (edited 02-20-2001).] IP: Logged |

If you would check the example levels you would see that you have to have two triggers placed when using a switch or key. You place a trigger for the switch and designate it switch, then you must also place a trigger for the door. When a trigger for a switch lays over a door trigger, the door trigger won't work until the switch has been 'pulled'. Sounds like you just set a trigger for the door then made it a switch trigger. That won't work.Re multilple switches, there is a section in the manual on page 74 (US version). If you are setting three switch triggers for one door, each one has to have different code bits pressed on and you must use all five (trigger 1 = 1st bit; trigger 2 = 2nd bit; trigger 3 = 3rd,4th and 5th bits). Don't forget you will have to put a door trigger under each switch trigger. Good luck. IP: Logged |
