I have two problems here: 1. After Lara pulls the rope, it continues moving all by itself. How to stop that? 2. I'd like to use the pullrope to turn a fire emmiter on. I set the trigger type to "Switch" for the pulrope trigger and on the same square a trigger for the fire emmiter, but it doesn't work. How to get it to work?I'd really appreciate any help ------------------ Catlantis Tomb Raider IP: Logged |

i havent actually used ropes but this is what i think should work:1) place the rope and the object you want it to trigger 2) trigger the rope as switch, or try key and place the objects trigger right on it i know you tried this but try again, or use key, and you might want to have the rope timed so it will stop after a bit and if no of this works try not trigger the rope at all but only the object trigger! sorry if i couldnt really help Nigel IP: Logged |

I have a pulley set up almost just like this in my Seth level.I started by placing the pulley object and furniture0 on the same square. Then put a switch type trigger for the pulley on that same square. When you set the trigger for the pulley be sure you have the pulley object selected and not furniture0. Then set a normal trigger for the flame emitter on the same square. Also, open the OCB window for the pulley and enter 1 in the text field. This will cause the pulley to move only once when Lara pulls it. IP: Logged |
