I am having trouble creating my own tga files.

In paint I made a page 256 by 256 pixels (four tiles across) I pasted in my photos and saved the document as a tga file. When I tried to import the file into the editor it gave an error message: Incorrect tg format.
Please Help
George

The format used by the level editor is diffrent to that used by defualt in drawing packages. First thing is that drawing packages save the image in a compressed form. The editor cant read compressed images and so wont work.

I suggest you visit www.3dactionplanet.com/tombraider for your copy of "Texture Edit". Its a program written to assist in the creation of texture tile sets and solves the problem by saving in the correct tga format.
