this really depends on how much work you want to put in to it. theirs a number of great paint progs out there for download as a free trial. the best I can think of is Jasc Paint shop pro7. it can be a bit confusing at first but there is very good documentation on it. if you decide to go this route just keep in mind that you have 30 days before you can no longer save your projects.
a much simpler way ( but not quite as powerful a program ) is ms paint. it's most likely on your computer any way. it only supports .bmp
