This is a question I have for a long time...Everybody knows that you can select portions of texture tiles, including triangular textures. But when selecting just 1/4 of a tile (16x64 pixels)and wishing to choose only one side of the little triangle, I can only select the lower triangle, not the upper one. Itīs a problem sometimes, specially with textures which include distinct lines or images. With bigger tile portions (32x64 up) the problem does not exist and itīs possible to click on the desired triangle portion... Iīm a texturing perfectionist, and this is anoying me for six months now. Any suggestions? Thanks! IP: Logged |

Hi Fabio, i have the solution. As you know i am a texture perfectionist as well and i have found out how to select an upper 1/4 tile. Select the 1/4 tile you want. Place it where you want it. It's not right now but click on another texture with the green triangle in the way you want it for your 1/4 tile. Now click on the 1/4 tile in your textured room with the right mouse button. Tata, your upper triangle 1/4 tile in your texture window!Rene IP: Logged |
