The manual is very enigmatic about Split Room button. Does any of you, guys use it when designing your levels.In what case and what for?

There is a limit to how much one room
can have in it.
You can sometimes go over that limit,
thus you need the split room function to cut it up.

i use it if i make a mistake, and need to seperate rooms that have either got too big or need to be broken up to fit arounf other rooms.

Its a very handy function. I quite often build a large room and split it up into sections so I can add textures to the portals when I join it all up again or can create several flip-maps in what appears to be one room when played. Also if your room contains large areas of walled off sections, its a good idea to split the room up to eliminate those walls as they are counted as "part of the game map" .
