I like just about everything Tomb Raider, but this is going a bit too far:

You've played the games, read the comics, gawped at the adverts, bought the t-shirt, seen the movie and had the rest of the merchandise rammed down your throat - now the only Tomb Raider related thing you haven't experienced is the Tomb Raider adventure ride, planned for Paramount's Kings Island in Ohio. Now finally, your chance to live out Tomb Raider for real, without being pervy.

"Part of the thrill of the Tomb Raider property is the mystery and intrigue that surrounds each adventure. We want to preserve this mystery with the Tomb Raider ride until the first group of adventurers braves it in 2002 -- so, we aren't going to disclose all of the surprises in store for riders," said Tim Fisher, executive vice president and general manager of Paramount's Kings Island. So it's not finished yet, then. "But this attraction will change the face of thrill ride history and become one of the greatest adventure rides in the world." Expect it to be an Indiana Jones-style affair, with lots of caves, minecarts and stalagtites (or is it stalagmites?).

Funnily enough I was thinking about a ride a couple of weeks ago, and came to the conclusion that there must be 1 in the pipeline. Shame that I live in England!
