I've been using GIMP and a freebee format converter to edit my textures and, unfortunately, *add* them. I've come to find this is not a great idea and I need to "compact" my textures by getting rid of ones I never used. What I'd like (like I'm gonna get it....) is something to help me move textures around the file and maybe remap textures (if that last one is possible) Please help, I face untold hours of rework otherwise... I wrote a program called Texture Edit some time ago available from www.croftsgate.co.uk. It assists in contsructing texture sets. I'm currently taking ideas for the next major version so feel free to contact me if you have any.John Jones IP: Logged |

Thanks!I'll certainly let you know how much it helps, and what it *doesn't* help with... IP: Logged |

Hey PW-Which format converter are you using? I've got GIMP and it works like a charm except for the fact that it can't convert to the format needed for the TR textures. DJ Tech ------------------ IP: Logged |
