since my other post turned into something not about sound, i started over...

i took a sound effect and then converted it into a MS ADCPM 44khz 4 bit stereo sound file, named it 001 and put it in the sound folder. Next in my level i put a trigger for cd sound 1, when i play the level it triggers but it sharply cut off. How can i fix this? Thanks
Nigel

OK, I'll put it here too.
The game engine cuts the sounds off about 3 seconds early. Add 3 seconds of silence to the wav file.

are you sure you wrote the number in the right way? if the name is 008 you have to put 8.... then really, try 8 bit with the same kind of compression....

The sound file is to short. Add some seconds of silence to the file!
