...Anyway, though it has absolutely nothing to do with TR, I was wondering if any one was from somewhere near cumberland. If so, have you ever seen/ heard of Blencowe hall?
Only asking because this is my ancestral (surname Blincoe) home [since about 1332+/- ad.]
Someday, I hope to be able to make a pilgrimage of sorts to see it.

Yeah I've been to Cumberland on hols a few times but I've never heard of Blencowe hall.  IP: Logged |

Blencowe hall has many sporting facilities, that's all I know about it. Im going next week to cumbria, ill keep a look out!IP: Logged |

I'm still here....
I'm about 97% sure that it's in or near Carlisle. 
But since I can't seem to find it on a map anywhere, I'm not 100% ------------------

No!!! Carlisle is in Wales. Cumberland is near the Lake District I think.IP: Logged |

cumberland = cumbriaCarlisle is in North Cumbria, close to the Scottish border. Its a different Carlisle in Wales. (i er think) IP: Logged |
