...**** is the problem?, i know it sometimes because the wad has too much colors but can it be another problem?....

is the tr4 you are overwriting a read only, that's the problem I have sometimes.------------------

...or maybe too many used textures in the trle....(remember that in total we can use only 4MB for the textures, this means considering the wad textures.... so if we use 2.3 MB for the textures of the wad - trwest tells you that for this - you can use onle 1.7 MB for TRLE textures.....) ------------------
