Division by zero

I have the runtimes which you get within the WADmerger 1.7.

I have exactly the same ****ING PROBLEM !!!

TR Freak told me :

"Ok i had this same problem. Your runtime files are not properly installed (doesnt matter if you have runtime versios or not). Go to www.tombraiderchronicles.com and go to the level editor section. Go down to utilities and download the texture edit program. This installs your runtime files properly. It should work from there. And also if anyone else knows how to properly disable collision please tell me. Thanks"

Try that but it doesn't fix anything.

If u find a solution PLEASE TELL ME !!!!!

Ungh. I haven't found the solution yet, sorry. I tried to solve the problem with TR Freak's advice, but it did no good.

Anybody else has something to say?

Got another one:
"Run-time error 2005532332(88760154). Automation error"

Michiel, could you say something? What's wrong with your program? Or runtimes?

Well, it shows when "initializing DirectX" is on the side of the progress bar.

Do you have DirectX7 installed with drivers for your graphic card? You might try updating the drivers. I might update WADMerger with a better error handling for DX.

Qudlatopec, I checked your error (2005532332). It means there is no hardware Z-Buffer support. So: GET A NEW GRAPHIC CARD (or update your drivers)

Thanks, Michiel for your precious time. And sorry to bother you with the problems.

I had to update my drivers. Thanks.

It isn't problem for me updating drivers, but I need to know if they must be certified (original drivers for my graphic card). It's hard to get a certified drivers for Banshee now since 3Dfx was bought by nVidia.

I've got 32 mb of video ram, but it's also tested with a 6MB voodoo rush card and it works too.

WADMerger uses DirectX7, but that is maybe going to be disabled soon since the 3D view doesn't work yet.

J'arrive, J'arrive !!!!
Je sors juste d'un déménagement à Toulouse.
Tu trouvers l'update sur... Ben le site http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm pardis!!!
C'est celà : Voodoo 3/2000/3000/AGP/PCI, Windows95/98/ME, VHQL, 1.07.00.

Hum Well Sorry,It's just so easy in French... I'm going to try to translate that in with "Crappy English".
So Download the driver from http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm. It's in Voodoo 3/2000/3000/AGP/PCI, Windows95/98/ME, VHQL, 1.07.00.section. It's a bit heavy (around 8 Méga)but it's very interesting.You will see...
To install it ,you have to unzip it (It's C:\Program Files\3dfx Interactive normaly)and click on the Install Icon placed in this folder. That's all. It's working now, no Problem.

One suggestion I might have for Wadmerger... the latest version ( don't know the # ), the one that allows you to strip off the dependancies, which is what I use it for, would only run properly from the *install* directory and not the *program* directory that its setup created.

To Thierry...

Ah, Toulouse!
Thanks for your explanations... I had already found out about the update, though!
But still, the program works but only when dealing with tr4 files and not from other games... I'll try again.
