What program can take an audio track from TR2 and convert it into a small 2-3mb wav. I have the song but the wav is 7.15mb. Any ideas?------------------

Any ideas?---- I'm assuming you've already ripped the sound using SoundJack and that you are asking whether it is possible to make a WAV file smaller? If this is the case, the answer is: the only way to reduce the file size of a WAV file is to reduce the quality of it. However, I haven't tested to see whether the LE will accept WAV files that aren't 22khz (as stated in the manual). WBM [This message has been edited by Wee Bald Man (edited 09-11-2001).] IP: Logged |

If you want to have it smaller then you need to reduce the audio quality and I am not 100% sure that it will still run in TRLE. You can simply do that by using the standard windows sound recorder, open the wav file, go to file+properties and convert from 44 to 22 or so. Hope this helps. ------------------ HAPPY RAIDING! I actually didn't use SJ but just musicmatch to record the background from the cd a wav. It is in 44 and still 7mb but it sounds ok in the editor, so I'm happy.------------------
