the post subject speaks for itself. how do you do this? (since obviously big levels cause problems and you are only limited on textures)

The first question, do you mean you have 2 levels and when you finish one you want the next to load?
Then in the Finish trigger, put the number of the next level. They start numbering at 1, and are numbered in the order they are in the script file.

The second question, not sure what you are asking? You mean how many textures you have used? Or which one is selected?
If you want to know how many are used, I think you have to build the level.
If you want to know which one is selected, there should be a box drawn around it.

yes that is what i mean~~since i have read nummerous problems with big levels crashing or if they work the anumation and textures are not as good of a quality that that could be, i was wanting to make 2 or 3 levels and stick them together, if you can do this,.how?? and if you can, is there a way to make it look like ONE big level to the player of the level instead of 2 or 3 with a continuous game play...not interruptions.???

If you put the number of the next level in the Finish trigger, it will load the next level. There is no way to make the change invisible, since you have to wait for the next level to load.

ok then...well that kinda sucks. if we can add levels onto one another you should at least be able to make it seem like one big level. just my opinion, maybe i am crazy.

Ever play the original TR games? The levels run into each other and seem like one big level, even when you wait for the next level to load. It really isn't that bad. Well, maybe if you're running an old 486/66 with 16MB memory.
