VCan I ask for some guidance on what tools to use to extract / edit / view TR1, TR2, TR3, or TR5 wads / textures? I know about the animation /AI probs - need to use mostly statics and textures but don't want to have a fruitless journey.... Plus I thought someone else should post a question otherwise we'll have to rename the Forum the "usmsci TRLE forum" ------------------ Conan the Barbarian IP: Logged |

Hi.For WAD extracting you need TR2WAD. Then you can use TRWest to mix the objects you need. If you want to retexture objects, use Strpix 3. If you want to make your own TGA file, you can use many editing tools, like Adobe Photoshop (a little expensive) or TextEdit (available for download at CroftsGate). IP: Logged |
