And another OCB tip. Remember the burning pillars from the library or from the tomb of semerkhet beneath the game to light the torch? The flame emmiter 2 burns in the middle of the square while normally it burns to a side of a square on a walltorch. Press 123 in the OCB. You see it on the second screenshot in the distance.

For the flame that comes out of a wall put a flame emmiter and press -2 in the OCB.

Actually Piega, the above OCB codes are found, plain as day, in the Guard.PRJ..... you will find a room that has the flames shooting out of the wall. the emitters here have a code of -2..... if you right click on them to rotate, you will find another underneath that has the code of -51..... this is the intermittent one.... LOL

Never could get OCB viewer to work!!!!

Nice one Rene, some amazing work

I still remember when you sent Catacomb Towers to us all those months ago. Mike and I were so knocked out by it, we nearly kept it to ourselves...lol

We had a similar reaction when Inch sent us Celtic Folly, and having seen these pics I can see another level joining the list.

Awesome

Col.

Hi and thank you for all the great reply's. Gecko i put my bumpmapping after my texture set is complete. It is not complete yet i add and delete textures as i build along the way. When i add bumpmapping, sounds and animation ranges i could get an error message when i load the project. So i add all this when the level is almost done so no errors develop.

Hi Inchdix, have you also downloaded RUNTIME? You need it to run the OCBviewer and the other programs like TRwad and WADMERGER i believe. The OCBviewer can give you great OCBcodes of objects to use items that would not work without them like the statue of poseidon. It's a pity that it wont show stacked triggers. It only shows one and i cant figure out how to use the scale with the waterbags and Ahnet. Hope they make an upgrade version that shows it.

Bumpmapping is an option on your 3dcard. If your card is supported with this option it will give textures more depth. When you click on "texture sounds" beneath the texture panel you can add bumpmapping to the texture you want.

Piega...... if you go to http://www.mprager.de/ , Look in the forums there (under the review staff section) and you will find a complete explanation of how to set up the scales etc, in the level editing questions list (by Magplus). BTW.... you are right.... I really should get all these utilities and spend some time using them....LOL.

Elpasodude...... Flame emitter 1...... OCB of -2 etc...... you will have to make a small room to house the emitter so that the flame doesn't appear to come out of thin air!
