I believe you would have to use an object for this purpose, like the tied up rock from the coastal wad for instance. I do not believe it is possible to stand on an object like that though, you could only do that on raising blocks etc.

Could the falling block trigger a heavy trigger for a flipmap. And in the flipmap room there are green death squares.

The green death squares will make Lara burn, instead of being smashed.

In the final moments of TRLR there were blocks coming down from the ceiling, that could be used...

use a remeshed rolling ball which lands on a flat square (in order it won't roll).

In TR1 there is Tomb of Qualopec not quadlapack.
But back to the subject...

Jeffrey, you can have what you need:
Open TRWest, load joby5c.tr4 as reference file and add two objects named SQUISHY BLOCK1 and SQUISHY BLOCK2 to your WAD. Set the triggers fot them in Editor and your wish will come true. You have to figure out on your own which of the blocks is falling down because I don't remember clearly. The other one is moving to sides.
I hope this is what you needed...

Yes!

Those are the blocks from the ending of TRLR.
They should work.
