Well it might be a good idea for a little while. Just out of respect really. But it's entirely up to you.

No offence meant to anyone, but if everyone started doing stuff "out of respect" every time there was a terroist attack in the UK, we'd never get anything done.

Yes, I can agree to some extent with what you mean Suzie.
To be honest, I don't think a coin flip is gonna hurt anyone, but it might now, now that a connection has been made...
(nudges emma who looks surprised but pats Moose on the head anyway ).
Ok put back to my box...

That would really depend. There can be lots of small connecting rooms. That can run the number of rooms up quite a bit.
It also would depend on the story, how the rooms are layed out, how big they are, how many puzzles and traps and enemies you have...there really isn't any sort of number you could give.

Number of rooms hey... Well Id say in the neighborhood of about 150-180. You don't want it to big, but you also don't want the level to be ridiculously short.

I have about 57 rooms in my level, but they are big, and about 3 of them are small connecting rooms. I have over 220 objects and over 100 triggers in my level. I am currently coming to the object and trigger limits...because the info texts are in red color.

Is that a good level?

My levels, Celtic Folly 1-5 contain just over 800 rooms. At least 50 of those are flip-maps though ...... make of that what you will.......
