Hi, I am doing a project for school and was wondering if anyone could help me. Does anyone know what type of computer language is used to develop pc games? Is there a primary language used, or are there several used (maybe even within the same game)? Any information is greatly appreciated!

Don't understand much about this. What I can say is that there are many different programs to make games:
Div Games Studio(the one that I use)
C++
Delphi
Blender
Pascal

and many others.

Currently, the main (and possibly only) language used for retail games is C++. You might see some C still, and a little Assembly language.
You can do games in other languages, but I don't know of any retail games, sold in stores, using anything but C++/C.
