I'm not certain how he did that..
Although I know a way you can get a effect something like it.
Place several "Grenade" objects in the area you want to explode.
Then trigger them all in the area you prefer.
It should cause the grenades to explode making a nice effect!
I hope this helps.

The mine (half helicopter) in the city wad makes a brilliant explosion, and makes the whole screen go white and then fade back to color ( along with a large explosion sound) - no matter where you are in the level. You could have the helicopter in a disconnected room, and trigger it when you want to achieve this effect.

Hope this helps,
-Raider

how you got it bob5?

I did with the mine, but you can use it in the same room setting it as invisible... the problem is that I was not able to remesh it, as my convertor crash when he reads the textures infos... so, it can be a problem for my wad, but if the mine item cannot be remeshed, it is a problem as it takes SO MANY texture useless to the wad...

Hi Sage Of Time,
I tried the trick with the grenades, but nothing happened. Are there any trigger/OCB-settings or do I need a special WAD?

Hi,
I meant "smaller" explosions, not the BIG BANG, is this possible with the "grenades trick", and how?

Hey!!
What about the flip-effect "play an explosion sound"????
Have a look in the manual for the right flip-effect code to type in the timer slot of the trigger!!!
Good luck!

...sorry, but do you know we were talking about an explotion?...

...that is only the sound and it is completely known... unfortunally it is not useful

bob5 I am still waiting for an answer--- I got it, but only with the mine object, and it is not that optimized having an object in the wad only for that...
