Topic: ARG! My what is too big?

Arg list too big. I just started a new level and it only has one room. I saved and tested it out, and it was fine. But when I went to reload the project and I get....Arg list too big....blah,blah,blah and then something about texture file pcx not found. Im not sure of what to do to fix this, never happened to me before. Can somebody please help me....thanks IP: Logged |

yeah, but whats realy weird is that I went and changed a couple of things in my wad and started a whole new project and saved over the one that was causing problems and again when i went to reload it after testing the wad I got the Arg list too big error. Anybody know about this?IP: Logged |

Either you moved or deleted your TGA file, or it has a space in the name. You can't have a space in the filename, Core decided a space would mark the end of the name. The LE freaks out on that. My project fixer will fix it, by changing the TGA name in the project to the Windows short filename, which eliminates the spaces.

Thanks everyone, but I have to give the credit to aktrekker. Because I got fed up and decided to uninstall the editor. After doing so I changed the file names and then realized that it was the problem all along. I did have a space in the file names. Thanks again
