the funny thing is that you can't see what's happening down the second picture and above the first... I finished the room in the 2nd one today after more than 7 hours to make it work "correctly"... IP: Logged |

sorry, but if you finished without using the beam, you used the DOZY the beam opens a trapdoor deep down the big egg room... once you put the portal eye in the portal, when you go inside the blue nevo bridge and you meet two egyptians statues IP: Logged |

I will check your savegame in some minutes.. I don't have my TEP on my pc and I have to download it... I haven't found the wad and the prj...I am at 36%... but I assure that there is no error in the map a part three I know but the player cannot know (as they are simply things I wanted in a way which is different from the way I pubblished it) I assure that the problem you say it is impossible... Lara cannot move inside walls, and if you finished that level without putting the beam, this is what you did... you passed thrugh a wall or used a savegame/position editor. Or there is another solution. Have you done something strange to the script? I mean... you did put my scripts, then used yours or others, then used mine again to finish my level? if yes, the map of my level gets corrupted, I mean unwanted invisible walls and something similar. The fact is the heavy customization of the wad, which is completely not compatible anymore with other levels. Anyhow, I am at 52% and I will tell you IP: Logged |

Ok!See here i didn't do anything to corrupt your level or script or anything.I played your level after i had replased the original WADS and .DAT files and deleted all other levels i have played.So my editor was clean.But now that you say strange thing that happened and didn't thought it was much at the time is that in some point i jumped, well Lara did,and got into a room that when i got to the end of it it had a closed door that i couldn't find a way to open it.I think i found a bug that makes Lara move in that room.I am talking about the room that you she a cut scene with a raising block inside and has some door that opens by a lever.A glass is seperating those two.Also in the big room that your level slows down there is a little gap in the floor with a lader i can see but no trapdoor or anything.I used the down arrow+crouch+action and not at first but she got down without grabbing the ladder and went through the corner and into the pool and the end.I swear i didn't use any cheats at all.Those two insidents i thought they were normal because your level is strange.I am sorry and i am really sad you don't believe me.P.S.What is a save game /position editor? I am sorry, but I don't know anything of what you describe... I don't mean I don't believe you! I just downloaded my own level and I will tell you...all the strange things you say are not right...  I mean, they look strange for me too!!!... I am so surprised...!!!! where did you download my level from? My level was downloaded more than 3000 times, and I am asked for help every day at least from two or three persons every day since june..... I wrote at least 600 times the solution for some part of the level and NONE (I swear NONE) spoke about the things you said.... that's why I am so surprised...! I didn't mean to be bad to you!! ok, I checked it... (it was not so beautiful to see how I worked months ago )anyhow, how did you get into that room? you are in a closed water room... the raising block is up.... the sinks would let you go only in a way... and NOT inside of this room... the map is good... the trapdoor up above is closed... anyhow, you have a corrupted map... I understood the other strange things you said and even there, it is impossible. The gap you see it has actually a trapdoor, if it is the one I understood... The room where you were able to go in, is not reachable... Download my level from here, as I trust only in this download (that is the one I checked now):

well I ask you to download it so you can check if it actually it was an error you had.... or it is my level... let me know, but be sure to have the level editor rightly installed... please, let me know

can you tell me if you see a raised raising block behind lara? I mean in the square next the edge where you can go out the water.... the raising block is orange with a round symbol inside... if it is not there, you have a wrong map and missed many parts of the level before to get there [This message has been edited by psiko (edited 11-28-2001).] IP: Logged |
