Topic: L.E. keeps freezing

My Level Editor keeps freezing when I right select a large area, also it freezes when I look around in 3D view in large areas.
Any Suggestions? Machine has 733 MHZ P3 and deadly new 64 MB 3D graphics accelerator...plus tons of RAM IP: Logged |

Try doing those things without the other rooms showing. The editor is prone to crash if you try to rotate with all doors connected and all textured.------------------

The thing is, it runs fine on my other machine, a P3 450 with inferior 3d accelerator, doors drawn, face edit on. I'm surprised it froze on the faster pc, and somewhat annoyed...
Is there any special settings I'm omitting in Tomb Raider setup, or somewhere else, display setting perhaps?IP: Logged |

As long as you're running it in the same way on both PC's, it's probably just one of those things that we have to put up with.
Do you have the latest drivers for you're video card and also, do you have direct x version 8 (because you'll need the latest version to run with your new video card), as this may also cause problems. Do you have any 'crash' preventing software running or anti virus software. Try terminating each program you have running like TSR's (those are the programs that you'll find in your tray bottom right.
Other than what i've mentioned, you may have to live with it, unless anyone else has a solution.
