Why is this? As soon as I pass a certain point in my level, torches and flares cease to show light. If I throw them, however, their radiated light appears. This is driving me crazy!IP: Logged |

Maybe you have too many flame emitters turned one at once in your level. After you leave an area with flame emitters, place antitriggers for them. If you need to come back to that place, trigger them again. If more than 30 or so are lit at the same time in the whole level, youŽll have the "flare bug" and "flame bug" as youŽve noticed.Greetings. you can have exactly 31 flame emitters (1-2-3). If you need lara to die once upon a square, simply use the DEATH green button feature, it works the same, simply lara dies suddenly.IP: Logged |

If you have fog bulbs in your level, that might have an affect as well, since once triggered, ALL fog bulbs in the level come on at once and stay on. Has anyone experimented with that?

actually, yes, and I get even this other funny thing when I put a fog in my level: all the semi-transparent data (water for example) is taken to the colour of the fog if you look at it from far away.Example: if you have orange fog, you get "orange" water textures if you look at them from very high of very far. Same thing for very far lights, if there is a fog in the level... But I hadn't tried if I put two fogs with different colours. IP: Logged |

You can't have 2 fogs with different colors. The FlipEffect sets the color with the timer value, and all fog bulbs use that color.

Never tried it. I wonder, if the fog is already on, will it trigger again? I don't think you can turn off fog, so I assumed once it is on you can't change it.
