This is my 1. post and I'm sorry I have to beggin here like that, but I really need to fix my problem fast.
The problem is - I finished making my first level, but when I select it to play LE chrashes to desktop. And this only happens to my level!
Things I did to fix this problem:
- Checked if there is a Lara object in the level(or if there aren't 2 of those)
- Checked if it isn't a script problem
- Deleted objects
- Deleted triggers
- Deleted savegames
Is there something I didn't do?
PLZ say anything that might help me.
My level isn't that bad(at least i think so.)
I still can open the prj files in the editor and change something, I can open it in the level convertor and convert the TOM to TR4, but I can't play it. HELP!

Does your level crash soon after you select it as new game? Or it happens in load game? If it´s in Load Game, check your Camera Coordinates for the load screen.

Check your texture memory amount in the list that appears in the converter. Too many different textures can crash the game. What number appears after Texture Infos?

Do you mean the room tex info, that appears while converting?
When I convert there appears something like this - Room Tex Infos : 401

and then it stops converting...

Take a look at the list while converting your level.
The total texture number appears between "nAnimRanges" and "2D Map", as "Textures" in the list. This is the total amount of textures in your level, including objects textures. Although I´ve successfuly made a level with this value around 3100, I had trouble with another level with this value below 2400. What´s your value?

Tip: If this happens to be the problem, you can use TRWest and delete unnecessary objects from your WAD. The object textures will be deleted as well and you´ll free some memory.

You propably know what happens when a level gets really big. While converting the whole list doesn't show, so I can't look at the part you told me to. Is there any other place where to se this? Like in the tom.log?
But I'll try to delete some junk in the wad as you told and see what happens then.

While converting it does show the the text. But it dissapears as soon as you highlight another window in front of it, after build complete you can scroll up and down the list. So yu can see the list, try it

Deleting the objects made even the convertor to crash, but I've had problems like these with cleopal.wad earlier too.(thats propably why my first level comes out only now.)

I read this in an earlier topic, and I know what the problem is. I have to keep the Room Tex Infos below 300, I just don't know how. I have already 401, and removing textures from TGA doesn't help much(I must admit, i deleted just 1 or 2)

I thought I might just mention this but some time ago I was downloading wads and for some reason they were missing an object (I think it was default sprites). The first problem I had was when Lara entered water the game crashed but then it also happened with flames. As soon as the flame came into view, the game crashed. It seemed the game could not handle the water or flame annimations without the default spites. If the flame is in view when you start your game or if Lara is in water, this might be it.

Then again I could be talking a lot of rubbish but as I said I thought I'd mention it just in case.

Nothing of this could be because the levels made with the cleopal wad, there are no flames in view at the beginning, and she doesn't start the level in water.
But thx for tring to help.
