yes the download is huge, use getright www.getright.com it will help to resum the file from where you interrupt it if you want to close your internet connection.YOU DON'T NEED THE TRLE! this is a stand alone game! IP: Logged |

I'm downloading this game now. It seems to be very good! 55MB are lot for my 64k connection but I had download bigger files (701 the biggest). Psiko this game runs without CD so you can post it in TR series forum too!IP: Logged |

qbg I can't believe that! I am so sorry!
Use getright that is the best in case you have a crash on your pc or you close suddenly your internet connection! those are the most usual reasons for a damaged file!But getright preserves this for most of the problems you can have! I know people can download this very careless (a part the waiting).. So if you want, you can help with that program (getright) and you can resume the downloading whenever you want (even three four, 40 times)... for the Omikron (the nomad soul) demo I downloaded three times a 192MB file for a transfert error.. so, don't give up! (I think that more than seven months of work deserve few hours for downloaing...) IP: Logged |

Yes. Download Accelerator Plus has a resume support function, but it sounds like that GetRight is more up to that job.I still can't believe that one silly little error costs me the entire file. Oh, and don't worry. I will try to download your level again. I was just so annoyed a bit earlier. I have calmed, so I have control over myself again. YOU beetleboy!! and I am talking that you use illegal programs to crack previous levels! or using a texture, a wad, an object illegally cracked with illegal programs is NOT ILLEGAL? that is work by Core Design the same!If this story goes on and after SEVEN months of HUGE and CUSTOM work I have to close this GAME, ALL OF YOU won't be able to use ILLEGAL PROGRAMS to crack Levels from ALL TR GAMES and provide those textures and objects in you levels.. Is there out there a level which is done ONLY with OFFICIAL tools? ALL UNOFFICIAL TOOLS are ILLEGAL, their use IS NOT AUTHORIZED BY CORE DESIGN, so please SHUT UP, and don't say illegal to me!!!!!!!!! They are allowing and closing an eye to all our levels and ALL THOSE ILLEGAL PROGRAMS out there! So if they won't allow this level anymore, do you think they cant allow ANY OTHER level out there??? Or you have the written permission to use an object from TR3 or TR2? Or to use a texture from TR1 TRC? Do you not here me..... You are distributing the tomb raider exectutable file, the exe. They straight out say you can't do that. As for the editing tools, I would hardly say they are illegal.IP: Logged |

Guys stop fighting and yelling...cause driber doesnt likes fight in the forums. And doesnt brings you anywhereIn this case, Psiko is right and maby Beetle too, i dont know for sure but as far as i know. We do have alot unoffical tools for trle. But eidos and core doesnt care about it. They even have putted Trwest as download on chronicles.com.
Like Psiko mentioned, we all use unoffical tools. And if it isnt allowed to use them, then eidos and core woulda forbidden them a long time ago. I can use the Trle Cd to install level editor on my friends computer, cause the thing runs without cd. Is this illigal ?? This is same as giving out Tomb4.exe without permission of Core/Eidos. Which person doesnt lends out cd's to his friends. It is illigal when you make copies of it and sell it or advertise it. Then your breaking the law. How many people didnt cracked the tr2 files from Tr3,Tr2. You got level editors for Tr-1-2-3 even. Even i do have Tr2Wad, Trwest. Cause without it everyone would build dull same levels. Gee...i wonder which wad i shall pick today... ------------------

Come to think of it. I want to download this level too No problem download time for my Adsl connection ( 62kb per second ) i think it will take me 10-12 min. Ow gotto go to school now. Tests. What i really like is that this level is stand alone and dont have to change my script files etc etc. I like it. Have you also putted the link on Mprager.de Psiko ? If i will review it. They are also talking alot there about your level. I think most people dont like it cause its 55mb hehehe. The screenshots look very promising, cant wait to play it after school ------------------

@psiko,I have not been able to install your level yet, but if you did include the tomb4.exe or a version of it, he is of course right and you could possibly be addressed by the lawyers of Core/Eidos - if they care at all. I think it is fair enough by beetleboy to point that out and it is also fair enough by you to care about it or ignore it. I, for one, do not have an issue with this, as I own a copy of TRLE and thus I am not doing anything illegal myself, really. It becomes tricky if people who do not own TRLE download your level and play it, but again - if there is noboday around who cares...then there is no real issue here

As I reacted the same way.
You are right to be emotional.
You are a designer and creator, and the limitations & hypocrisy of anal tech-nerds need to be addressed
but unfortunately you will have to take the EXE file out.
Eidos will wipe out your website shortly.
They did it to me when I did the same.
It's a product of theirs and they have no sympathy for designers or creators when it comes to MONEY $$$. Thus is the capitalist system. ))))OBVIOUSLY a STANDALONE FILE should be created by EIDOS!!!! MIRAI ps. I'll download your files once I get the ADSL.
