I started a level a while ago, due to probs with the level editor i had to call it a day. I bought a new pc but xp would not let me use it, it worked but had a major flaw, anyway i have asked this b4 ages ago, i did a search it is about the same room which i am about to complete. It goes as follows, i have four large pushable objects, all in the same room. I want to push each about until they all rest on their own square (trigger) but i if the order is wrong it is renewed or something like this. If some kind soul could please refresh my memory as to how this happens i would appreciate it.

do you mean the order the player moved them? Are you sure the 1-5 buttons in the OCB box are not in conflict each other?IP: Logged |

Check out the library project with the 4 planets you have to get on the right square. Check OCB for the planets, the door, and all triggers.

sorry i sould maybe have been more specific, i am doing this idea of moving four heavy objects onto their own designated squares, i want each to be placed in order, i.e. object 1 to square 1 etc, i do not know how to do this yet, ocb and all that dont mean much to me as regards triggers, i have spent most of my time trying to build a worthy interesting believable level, there are no triggers yet nor enemies, so i am a little behind in those respects, hope someone can say how to set four triggers up with four pushable objects, would appreciate this , thanx.IP: Logged |

Try here 002021.html Don't forget to skip down to the end as well. It should give you the info you want.

well i looked at the post but it is somewhat confusing, i tried it, four pushable objects, onto four heavy triggers, when lara runs across any of these squares b4 a heavy object touches it the pushable objects become unpushable for some reason, when all objects are on their squares, great surprise , nothing happened. the ocb is abit confusing, someone said they had a tutorial, if anyone knows of this tutorial for my problem please let me know. also the door i am triggering is in an adjoining room, across a portal.IP: Logged |

when i place my first heavy trigger the door opens, instead of after all four, this is an advancement i suppose, please tell me how to trigger the door and use the ocb to get the right combination, thanx.IP: Logged |

Place the door in the level. OK, for the first pushable object. 1) Place the pushable object in the level. 2) Click on the pushable object so it turns red. 3) Press the letter O key. 4) In the OCB window, click the 1 button so it is dark. Make sure the other buttons (2-5) are NOT clicked. 5) Click OK. 6) Click on the door so it turns red. 7) Wherever you want your trigger, click on that square. 8) Click the pink trigger button to create the trigger. 9) Click in the text window next to the pink button. 10) In the trigger window that appears, click on the box that says Trigger. 11) In the list that appears, click Heavy then OK. 12) Click the 1 button so it is dark. Make sure the other buttons (2-5) are NOT clicked. 13) Click OK.Your first pushable is now ready. For the second pushable, do the same thing, except use the 2 button for the pushable object and the trigger. For the third pushable, do the same thing, except use the 3 button for the pushable object and trigger. For the fourth pushable, do the same thing, except use both the 4 and 5 buttons for the pushable object and trigger.

when i click in the trigger box and set to heavy this seems fine, but all the numbers below are black to start with, is grey the not selected as they are all black, where in the ocb they are all grey, tried what you said and nothing happens, btw my door is in an adjoining room, i get it to open after 2 but after the four now nothing happens also i am using the objects from library.IP: Logged |

Black is clicked. Gray is NOT clicked. Pushable 1 and the trigger you push it on should both have ONLY button 1 clicked. Pushable 2 and the trigger you push it on should both have ONLY button 2 clicked. Pushable 3 and the trigger you push it on should both have ONLY button 3 clicked. Pushable 4 and the trigger you push it on should both have ONLY button 4 and 5 clicked. The heavy triggers should all be for the door, not for the pushables. Do this and it should work just fine.
