Hello All Texture Edit users,I've decided to post this message in the forums because I am currently programming the new version of Texture Edit (from scratch) and I'm after roughly ten existing users to beta test it (emphasis on the "existing"). If you can spare the time to use and then send feedback on the program then please reply to this message with your contact details. I'll then choose ten people from the list to start testing the program within the next week. In the meantime I've attached a image of what the programs new interface looks like. You should notice that I've finally added some drawing tools at last. ------------------ John "IconJohn" Jones http://www.croftsgate.co.uk http://www.3dactionplanet.com/tombraider http://www.croftsgate.co.uk/forums tombraider@3dactionplanet.com A Member of the GameSpy Network http://www.gamespy.com http://www.gamespy.org http://www.gamespy.net http://www.3dactionplanet.com

Yes, Texture Edit is that program that lets you transfer texture tile sqaures to new sets easily. I've decided to add drawing capabilities because so many people have asked for it and mainly because I got a lot of complaints about the last version due to the lack of features. So this version will feature tons of new features to keep those expert texture set creators happy. Looks professional, and, like Jantje said, it looks like PSP. ------------------ ganon93@hotmail.com IP: Logged |

I'm sure that there are more people interested in this programme than those that have actually posted here...this doesn't quite apply to myself though, as in the past year I've come to terms with PSP and CorelDraw. An easy (and exact) alignment of tiles, however, would alone justify the use of your programme for me. I'd be interested in beta testing this programme. My testing will be rather demanding, as I usually work with the maximum number of textures, and modify a lot of them. My criticism tends to be severe but (usually) fair. Click on the button above this message for my e-mail address, if you're man enough. IP: Logged |

I don't come around here as often as I probably should.. But If you are still in need of a Tester i'd be glad too. Texture Edit is a great tool and I really would like a version with more features. And I figure if nobody tests it, a newer version won't ever be released! My E-Mail: sageoftime@charter.net------------------ IP: Logged |

I'd be glad to! I use T/Edit now and love it, but anything to make it better is fine with me... MacArthurEnterprises@juno.com [This message has been edited by TRoosevelt_26 (edited 01-28-2002).] IP: Logged |

Here's another screenshot. It's the new configuration dialog box. As you should be able to see you can configure a lot more options than in the previous version. IP: Logged |
