In the right room (the "normal" room), click the upper left square and look at the status window. Put the X value of the square into the Windows Calculator. Add 1 to the value and multiple with 1024. Make sure you're using the enhanced version of the Calculator and check the Hex radio button. Now copy the hex value and paste it into the script like this:Mirror= 69,$7400 (69 = the room which connects to the mirror room, $7400 = the hexadecimal value) Then save the script and it should work. b/w, if you don't Toggle Opaticy on the door between the rooms, when you run into the mirror, the reflection of Lara disappears and you can run around in the mirror room. When you run back into the normal room, the reflection appears again in the mirror room. Quite interesting, huh? [This message has been edited by hteS (edited 01-20-2002).] IP: Logged |

If i build a mirror room i always use the number from the script. I dont know how to calculate an other position. I only need to adjust the room number and place the room on the same square. I found out that if you got empty rooms between the one you want to use for the mirror Lara wont show. All rooms must be used before the mirror room. So if you are wondering why Lara wont show check the not used rooms. IP: Logged |

Whoo Hoo Ive done it with the help of hteS and Johnny Lincoln Thanks Guys It seems that to run the English.Bat (the icon with the cog on) you have to right click on the icon goto > edit delete that txt and put @echo off script script.txt del ..\*.dat copy script.dat .. copy english.dat .. del strings.h Then save, it will then take effect and the Mirror will work. I also had to make changes to the Logo.bat also when I put a new logo in ( you right click on the bat>edit and delete the last \ ) Basically make your changes to the script, run the script.exe then run English.bat, then convert the level
I HAVE WRITTEN A BRIEF TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CREATE MIRRORS PLEASE POST ANY MORE QUESTIONS HERE 007658.html ------------------ Currently Working On; The Dragon Ball TR Saga Often in the Chatbox / AOL Instant Messenger Name is : GoTenchiZ , MSN ; Gokuz99@hotmail.com [This message has been edited by GokuZ (edited 01-20-2002).] [This message has been edited by GokuZ (edited 01-20-2002).] IP: Logged |
