O.K. I know this may sound a little funny, but I cant make water in the level editor I try over and over again, but every time I do,I fail anyways I understand how to work the program, but I cannot make water,it seems that when I place the textures on the supposed area to become water it would just texture the area as if it would do that any other way, even with the transparent and double sided buttons on. please help me thanks------------------ THE SPEECH OF THE GODS:- The Great Company of the Gods say to Thoth who dwelleth in Khemenu: That which cometh forth from thy mouth shall be declared true. The Osiris the scribe Ani, whose word is true, is holy and righteous. He hath not committed any sin, and he hath done no evil against us. The devourer Am-mit shall not be permitted to prevail over him. Meat offerings and admittance into the presence of the god Osiris shall be granted unto him, together with an abiding habitation in the Field of Offerings (Sekhet-hetepet), as unto the Followers of Horus. Do you also have the toggle opacity 2 on? And you have to be in the room above the water room. Selecting the "door" area with all those above buttons selected. So you are kind of texturing the ceiling of the floor below with the water tiles. Works for me at least...IP: Logged |

Okay, here's how you do it: 1. Make two rooms. 2. Attach the bottom of one to the top of the other. Make sure (with the "Draw Doors" option on) that you can see from one into the other. 3. Now, in the top room, look up at the grid at the top left of the LE. 4. Left-click on the door to the room below (the black area). It should say something about a "pit to room *". 5. Now depress the "Toggle Opacity 2" button. The door to the room below should (apparently) disappear. 6. Now depress the Transparent and Double Sided buttons. 7. Now switch to Face Edit mode and apply whichever water texture you wish to the door. You should now be able to see into the room below again, but you should also be able to see the water textures faintly. 8. Now go to the bottom room and make sure you have the "W" button (under the grid and just above the "climb" buttons) depressed. This makes the room a water room.IP: Logged |

And don't forget to set animation range on the textures you use for water to make them moving.IP: Logged |

Also, if the water textures are at a corner of a texture, do the following:1 - Make a room 1x1 2 - Texture the floor with the WHOLE texture 3 - In the main level, if you want to make a water texture, get the quarter-tile of the texture, and paint your water. ------------------ qbg IP: Logged |
