I got inspired by Pacific islands levels so I am making these type now, the jungle levels were mayans style, now we got the aztecs also, lets not forget this ancient civ

This level i am going to call is, Rivir of Shama, it will be same purpose of Madubu George level from trIII.

rapids, falls, caves, but i am adding a extra, you also visit inside of temples here and there. I have extracted a wav file as level music ( the noisy rapid sound wav )

But first i am taking a long break for level editing. I will reduce my building speed down to 1 day per week building, and i will keep this for 3-4 weeks. I just need to rebuild my energy and get more inspired. Next month like March 15 i will start building at full speed again. And i cant tell how long these 4 levels are going to take me to finish. Anyways, enjoy this small level screenshots for a time

Thanks

Indeed, i just made 5 rooms to check out how to create a rapid rivir area. So i made this.

Btw where do you see stretched textures, and about wall paper, the place where the rapids arent finished like i said just a small screenshot.

And lara dies if she falls in the rapids, too bad the editor doesnt haves a "drowning instant death" so i came up with the following idea, 1 click deep water room under it, no transparent texture, then in the water room i added a instant death, if lara falls in you will see her burn for a second then she dies. The best thing about this is that you can make lara look like she is dieing, she only burns for 1 second then the flames go out cause she is in water, but i noticed also in the real game that sometimes there are some sloped place where the rapid textures go steep, now i think this is a special thing.

Now if we had a Kayak and the right"instant death it woulda been perfect "

Yea but explain the sloped places, i just used tr2prj to get the level and i checked, there are some huge sloped areas which lara also dies. So it must be a special thingi.

This may sound stupid thought but i am not going to use water in order to create rapids, i am just going to create my slopes then put a Death square where she must die, Ok, she will burn to death instead of drowning but i do wants slopes, a real rough river.

I think i will start building end of this month, already got texture set, wad set and sound set ready

Sorry, I didn't knew or didn't notice where she's going. It just looked so 'tropical' so I thought she'd need an outfit so it wouldn't be too hot for her! But it's been worse, I thought Lara will freeze in TR2 with that pathetic jacket, if I don't finish those levels fast enough lol !

Lol well she does encounters some snow, so i cant make her keep dressing up in different stuff, i think i will stick to the normal clothes, btw there is plenty of water around in the level to wash her clothes ey ? Uhm, absolutly not reffering to jump in the rapids
