There are 2 Pictures, One Bump Mapped and the Other not, its a big difference in quality eh? lol

Nothing was changed but Bump Mapping turned off, then On.

Something to do with textures and extrapolating light sources from 2d images - and creating those light sources. I am probably wrong, though. The Bump mapped one looks worse. Too much contrast.

Don't make bump maps on TR1 textures... since the textures are designed to be 3D enough.

The top one looks more real. The bottom one looks more smooth. It's all a matter of preference. Personally, I don't mind either of them.
