I replaced TR2 Lara meshes with TR1 Lara's, and now my sounds are messed up.This is because the meshes kept their original sound mappings from TR1 (TR1, TR2 & TR3 stored sound effects differently than TR4 & TR5). So now most of the sound effects in my level won't work. So what I am wondering is: is it possible to take Lara's meshes out in something besides STRpix (while still keeping the textures of the meshes!!) and then to put them in in STRpix. This works with WADmerger, in the sense that the sounds aren't mapped to the meshes anymore, but the meshes don't have any textures. Please help me!! IP: Logged |

Will Rhino3D save .DXF files with their textures? Because I will certainly download it if it will...I have to be able to do this, because then I will be able to use the TR1 Lara with her Mac-10s, magnums, shotgun and pistols!!! Thank you in advance. IP: Logged |

OR...is it possible to unmap the TR1 sounds from TR1 meshes? That would be good, too.IP: Logged |

Sorry Rhino will not save the meshes with texture support.If You are using sTrip x . all you can do is export the bmp texture to a paint program and edit it from there.Then ut it back .I havent tried anything new so i would be interested in the results 0f your experiments . IP: Logged |

Use popov's trviewer for export/import individual meshes with FULL TEXTURES to TR4 files, then use trwest for convert the TR4 file (with the new model on in) to WAD file format.good luck. tp.
