Topic: Help on Tr3 custom levels

I'm trying to get a Tr3 custom level to work. I don't think I did it right because every time I try to load Tr3, it crashes to the desktop. Can someone explain to me, in plain english, how to set it up correctly?

You will need the TR3 South Pacific demo. Just rename your level's .tr2 file to shore.tr2 and overwrite the one in the /data folder.[This message has been edited by LarzBritsh (edited 05-12-2002).] IP: Logged |

No, I know you don't need the Tr3 south pacific demo to do it, because I did it before. I just don't remember exactly how I did it.------------------

yes, You have to use tr3 south pacific demo...or a full patched tomb3.exe.If the custom tr3 level came with a tombpc.dat included then use that one, some custom levels will not work if the correct tombpc.dat is not used. Which Tr3 custom level are you trying to make work? tp.

I'm trying to use the TR3 no cd patch. believe me, i got it to work before. I'm trying to make the "Missle Crisis in Kuru" work. The only problem I have is that every time I try to run the game it crashes to the desktop.------------------

Oh, i've played that level before. Just do the South Pacific demo method, it works with every TR3 level for me. Missile Panic in Kuru starts off in a jungle with some climbing and jumping puzzles.I have some level recommendations:
Return to Sumeria
Return to the Sideral Place
Lara's homes levels
