Hi everyone, first of all I'd like to say that all of your outfits look great! I'm new at all of this. I recently bought the TRC with the TRLE and downloaded strpix3. I have not created my own level yet or made an outfit of my own.

Anyways, my question is how do I play the levels using other people's outfits? I'm somewhat computer illiterate...Thanks a bunch!!!

When you download an outfit and it contains a lot of files, than just download TRwest (dl in the faq page at the top of this page). Open the .WAS file of the level you want to change the outfit (in trle/graphics/wads folder) Load the outfit .WAS file as a reference file and add Lara_Skin, Lara_Skin_Joints, Lara_Scream, and Hair (if present). You'll have to delete SixShooter_Amin from the level WAD. Then just save.

Start the Level Converter, add the level .TOM file, click build all. Start TR and play.

You can view the textures and meshes in Strpix. By opening its .WAD file.

If the outfit only contains a .WAD file, then take other files from any level (in the trle/graphics/wad folder) for example
coastal.xxx (x being any variable) except for coastal.TOM, and rename it to the outfit's filename (keeping the .xxx ending).

oh, and welcome to the forum!

Thanks! Right now I'm working on a Jill Valentine Lara with short hair and all. I love Resident Evil also so I thought I'd try something unique

Hey, you stole my idea!

I guess they'll be 2 versions of that outfit, mine and yours. If you need any help with modifying meshes or making new ones, we are happy to help.

Believe me you will return to this forum with a mesh problem, it is incredibly frustrating.
