got the same one, it contains a virus in the attachment valign.batthe e-mail(s) you got most likely aren't actually from Yason or Treeble (but if so, they are infected with the virus), it's someone else who is using e-mail addresses from forum members and is impersonating them best thing to do is to delete the e-mail, update your virus definitions and run a complete system scan ------------------

they did it to me and my email addresses too, some short time ago  The orrible thing is that they can ACTUALLY use your PC to send those virusses with your email, like if you really are sending them, simply using (if I remember well) the 25th port (for STMP) if you don't have a really good FIREWALL.... they did it to a computer of a friend of mine, just because I connected from there for a while, and someone was thinking that was my PC... and I came again using his PC, I installed a firewall, and I saw that a person from ENGLAND (I recovered his IP) was trying to use my friend's PC 25 port to send emails... probably exactly the ones with virusses and with my email address... So, not only they probably are using those email addresses from Yasin and Treble, but they are even using the PC itself, to make those fake emails to be traced like the real senders were Yasin and Treble.... Use a firewall, then you can simply desire they are not really and deeply hackers, because there is no defence from them: no matter the defence you use, if they are really hackers and not lamers or wannabes. I recommend Zone Alarm (free firewall). Easy to install and use. www.zonealarm.com Also, remember that there are little programs called spiders that search the web for email addresses. Don't ever post your email address on this forum without including a bad character. E.g. mary@hadalittlelamb.com* (the asterisk * confuses the spider and means that you will not receive junk mail and viruses if you reveal your email address (this is why your email addresses are hidden in icons on this forum - the spider can't access them there). Wait a minute......my pc isnt infected with the Virus neither I am hacked... I dont have a super fire wall but I do have 1 running. And I got also a Virus scanner + a VS ( Virus shield )If I was infected my cousin would also got a fake mail, he didnt. I think LeeO's pc was maby infected, because I also got some mails from members in Mprager like Inchdix, Seemeister and so on... I should appologize to you LeeO I kept receiving the fake mails, over and over and over and over..... I got soooo mad.....my whole Hotmail Account is messed up with these fake mails I received from almost every tombraider Member friend I know...... Its getting insane !! My pc aint infected and I am happy for that. But from now on if I receive another fake mail with viruses from anyone I will reply back to that person. And there has been a topic at mprager also with more then 70 posts.....quite a dissussion IP: Logged |

it's most likely that they are NOT infected
it's easy to impersonate someone's e-mail address and that's what's been going on here for a while quote:
