Well, of course none of the resources are compatible, not only because the engines are completely different but as well as nobody knows how the programs shall be coded at that time... and we don't even know if we're going to get a AOD LE.But, why to imagine in tomorrow if we still have today? TR6 only in November! IP: Logged |

Why would you ask for tools when the "supposed" AOD LE isn't even released? We need to study the engine and scripts to make new tools. And it is extremely unliking that AOD will have the LE. The only reason TRC included the LE was because it was a short game and Core needed to give us an incentive to buy it. They have all the incentive they need to sell AOD. IP: Logged |

I heard on this site that a new LE was being developed! So you obviously havent been paying attention. As for TRC being a short game, then how come it took up most of its cd space whereas games TR1-3 took up less than half theirs, but didnt come with a LE. ? IP: Logged |

Of course a new LE needs to be developed. How else would they make AOD. That doesn't mean that it will be released, but...it may happen. If it does, i'll be very surprised.
TRC was a short game nonetheless, it took up more cd space because the engine is more advanced and more objects, and cutscenes were used. Not to mention more advanced fmvs, the extra concept art(when you finish with all secrets, and music. I can tell that my idea that the AOD LE will not be released, is making me unpopular, but it's my opinion. Can you please point me to the site about the AOD LE, im curious too. There are a LOT of FMVs in TRC, that explains the size of the disk.IP: Logged |

Finally! Someone who agrees with me. Im a person who thinks realisticly, so that's why i don't think the AOD LE will be released anytime soon. SF-49er seems to have "evidence" that the AOD LE will be released, but i have yet to recieve the url to that site. I would be shocked if the AOD is released, but i can dream... IP: Logged |

Nope, a LE is used to make levels by both progammers and consumers. If you don't believe me: http://extra.gamespot.co.uk/pc.gamespot/features/tlr_uk/03.html Progammers and creators of the game use the same LE as us, but they have more tools on their hands like cutscene editors. I don't pay attention? Look at my post count and look at yours!
