Hello =)
I'm new here!
Well, I just bought Tomb Raider Chronicles, and I have already played some custom levels with the Level Editor...
Well, here is my question:
I downloaded a few outfits, but I still don't know how to put them in the levels.... Can somebody help me, please?

Thanks =)

hi welcome to the formes
ok
first you have to download the trwest program, then download the outfit and put it in your wads folder, after that open up trwest and on the top it should say "file", click on file and click on open wad for editing, then chose your wad, then click on file agen and click load refrence file, and select the wad for the outfit that you downloaded, it should apeer on the side, and right by it it will have a + sign, click on the + sign, and highlight the wad name and click add, a sign should come up that says "are you shure you want all these objects" and click ok, then go to file and click save wad, and then exit it,then open up your level converter and select the wad that you put the outfit in and click build all, then select the level in the game and play.

ps dont hesitate to ask anything

Hey, thanks! =)))
You are all very nice!
Now I'm shy hehehehe
=D
and danny.k, thanks for your answer! It was very helpful! =)
But.... huh... I have another question hehehe
You see, I did everything just as you said, but when I went to "files" on trwest, it only had .was files, not .wad
And the outfit I downloaded was "WeddingDress.WAD", so I couldn't find it there...
So sorry if I didn't understand it quite well... =(
Sorry to bother you... And thanks anyway! =)

Hello and welcome to this community.

In answer to your question, the .WAS file is the correct file to use.

Hi! Welcome to the forum!

Well ,for example, the outfits I made are really old and I didn't know about tr west when I did them so if you download one of them what you get is a wad file, so in order to use it,if you downloaded an outfit that is coastal.wad you have to overwrite the old coastal.wad then when you build the level lara will be wearing it, so you can use trwest to extract the lara skin, the skin joints and so on. Of course now the outfits as Danny's have custom meshes and using tr west is more practical but the was file must be included in the download

For TRwest to work with The Wedding Dress outfit (by the way, did you get it from my site? TR Tailor?) it need to have all needed files.

To do this: go to your trle/graphics/wad folder and Copy all the files with the filename coastal.xxx (x being any variable), except for coastal.tom and coastal.txt
(copy into another folder) Rename all copied files to the WeddingDress, or whatever the outfit wad is named.

when you open TRwest, you can now use the outfit (WeddingDress.WAS).

You should of gotten the Wedding Dress outfit from my site, it has the updated .zip file with all the need files, so you wouldn't have to go through all this.

And also, thanks for the great help! I'll try it now! =)
I'll post again saying if I could do it!

Hey, danny.k, I didn't even know it was your outfit hehehehe
Congratulations! I saw the pictures, and it is really nice! =)
That's why I downloaded it! =)
You are very talented!
And LarzBritsh, your site is really cool!
Thanks for telling me about it! hehe =)
And I really can't remember where did I get this outfit...
All I know is that it only came with two files: "WeddingDress.WAD" and "Readme.txt"
But I will download it from your site now! =)
