They do work without problem on my old computer (W95)
They fail on the new one (Windows XP) : The failure occurs while trying to save the .prj file.

It works, but not on WIN ME and WIN XP.
I assume, which is it because of the updates for Win98, because with Win98 without updates it runs in the best way. It is also not to be excluded, which is responsible the InterNet Explorer 6 for which does not go it. I hope the Aktrekker still gotten.

I'm running on Win98 SE with all the latest updates as of a couple of months ago. I only have IE 5.5 because I heard of problems with 6.0. But as far as I know I don't use any part of the system involved with IE.
I can see why there might be problems on XP, but I can't imagine why ME would not work. Especially when saving, because all I do is open a file and write to it.
Do you get the error after it asks for the name of the PRJ file or before that?

The Error comes when the programm will open the *.was file. And when I will save the PRJ without objekts after the name for the PRj file.

What level are you trying to convert, from which game?
I assume it is a TR4 level since objects are only created for TR4 (unfortunately it always asks for the WAS file, even though it ignores it).

Is the program working for anyone?

Yes, it is an TR4 Level and I has it tried with WAD made by TRWEST and made by TR2WAD/WADMerger. But it did not go with both.

What level are you trying to convert, from which game?

I go it with any TR4 level, for instance Karnak.tr4 : See below

It occurs as soon as I hit the SAVE button.
(In my case, no problem while opening the WAS file)

I get exactly the same error with TR3 levels, for instance Jungle.tr2

The first thing I do when you click Save All is to bring up the dialog to set the name of the project. This is a common dialog, provided by Microsoft, so I really don't know what's going on here. Especially since version 1 worked.
Come to think of it, I have updated Windows since I last built that version. My COMMDLG.DLL has a date of Jan 7, 2002.

I wonder if it could be that I have Office 2000 installed.

I still want to know if it is working for anyone. This could be the classic case of multiple Microsoft runtimes.

Same problem here:

installed software:
Windows 98SE
Visual Studio 6
Office 2000

commdlg.dll is dated 5 may 1999.
But version 1 has always worked.
