Hello All!

I’m currently out and about touring Europe and showing off Tomb Raider to consumers and community alike. As of this morning, I’m leaving Madrid’s GameFest behind and heading to Hamburg, Germany. I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to connect with fans on a personal level and meet those of you who are the strongest supporters of our brand. Despite all the travel – Karl and Brent are also on the road – there is still plenty transpiring back at the office.

Each was revealed through a unique social media outlet – Facebook, Twitter, and the Crystal Habit Podcast #3, respectively. In addition to kicking off a contest, we’re excited to celebrate 15-years of Tomb Raider throughout the month of October. Tomb Raider and its fearless heroine were first unleashed on the world October 1996, manifested from fantasy to reality by creator Toby Gard and the talented crew at Core Design. Fifteen years later, Lara is making her mark on the world again in a bold reimagining by Crystal Dynamics.

To celebrate the occasion we’ve played curator to a digital art exhibit. Eight original pieces of art have been commissioned in Lara’s new image, and will be made available to download for desktop adornment and other digital devices. The handpicked roster of artists is diverse. Some have affiliations with Lara’s past. Others were chosen for their unique styling and fresh take on the world’s favorite Tomb Raider.

We revealed the first artist this morning – fan-favorite Andy Park. Be sure to visit tombraider.com/15 every Monday and Friday throughout October for another new interpretation of Lara Croft by renowned artists.
