Happy May all! For those of you in colder climates I hope you’re all thawed out and enjoying the outdoors again – perhaps to do some adventuring of your own!

The past month has been a full one, despite Tomb Raider being on the market for nearly 60 days. Contest closures, DLC announcements, and game industry conferences have kept our crew busy. Read on for details!
How are you faring in Tomb Raider multiplayer? Have you unlocked Lara yet?

We've recently released a pair of fresh multiplayer map packs to master. Newest to the market is the 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The 1939 pack includes the following locations playable in free-for-all mode:

Dogfight: Dating back to the World War II experiments conducted on the island, this bunker is a deadly maze of brick and mortar that could easily become a tomb.
Forest Meadow: This forest meadow is a hunting ground, filled with open spaces that can be advantageous and dangerous at the same time. Who is the hunter and who is the hunted?

Originally exclusive to the Xbox 360, the Caves & Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack is now open to fans on the PlayStation 3 and PC, too. Lastly, an additional pair of maps via the “Shipwrecked Multiplayer Map Pack” will launch in early May. Have fun online!
We’ve updated TombRaiderStore.com with a slew of limited edition art prints featuring really unique interpretations of Lara. You can take a gander at the gallery of screenprints and giclees here. Get on them before they sell out!

Do you dig game development? Now that Tomb Raider is on the market we’re eager to show fans some of the impressive technology under the game’s hood. A handful of Crystal Dynamics’ staffers presented at the annual Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, speaking to system design, tools, Tomb Raider’s camera, and more. I’ve culled down their presentations into a slightly more digestible format to give you some insider information on making the game! Enjoy!

The Tomb Raider: Reborn contest has come to a close and big winners have been revealed. Narrowing the final selection from 5000 entries was nearly impossible, but deviantART managed to drill down to a pool of 25 talented semi-finalists. Twenty-two of the semi-finalists received a wireless Tomb Raider Xbox 360 controller, a 3-month premium membership to deviantART, and 2,000 deviantART points. From this list Senior Art Director Brian Horton picked the final three winners. Ready to find out who secured the top slot?

1ST PLACE: Chase by Hamsterfly
Hamsterfly will be receiving the following:
• The winner’s work will be featured on a print that will be sold internationally via the official Tomb Raider store.
