In a recent article for Gamasutra, Head of Studios Darrell Gallagher let loose a slew of great news about Square Enix, including two major Tomb Raider milestones.
First, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light has now sold over one million units across platforms, a huge landmark for a digital release. On top of that, our recent Tomb Raider reimagining has secured its place as the fastest selling game in the history of the franchise, with over 4 million units sold worldwide so far. As a team, we’re really proud to see these numbers bolster strong reviews and fan approval. Thank you for believing in us and helping Tomb Raider become such a success!

If you've been looking to add more goodies to your Croft collection, the line of Tomb Raider Minimates hit stores in September. Four of them (Lara Croft, Scavenger Scout, Battle Damaged Lara, and Armored Scavenger) are available at both specialty stores as well as Toys “R” Us. Four (Roth, Mathias, Sun Queen Himiko, and the General) are only available at specialty stores, and four (Storm Guard, Storm Guard Stalker, Scavenger and Scavenger Archer) are exclusive to Toys “R” Us.
