I'm having trouble with the AI for the newcity wad. I do exactly what it says in the manual (pickup trigger: item has 64 + 4 cos it's on a pedestal, did pickup trigger for guard and nothing happens! Please help!IP: Logged |

If what you trying to do is get the guard to appear when you pick up the object, then you are right you place the object with 64+4 in the ocb, but you must still assign this a pick up trigger in the set trigger type box, then trigger the guard to the same square.Col. ------------------ www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk IP: Logged |

I'm doing everything you said, but it still doesn't want to work. Could the fact the rooms flipmapped have anything to do with it?IP: Logged |

It does say in the manual that be careful using baddies in flipmapped rooms as their behaviour can be unpredictable, so that may be your answer------------------ www.tombraider-customlevels.fsnet.co.uk IP: Logged |

I use the baddies in non-flipped rooms aswell. I trigger the first SAS in the list, with the face. I put on his square a GUARD and Modify diamond. When he's triggered, he just spins round to face lara all the time. Help!!!IP: Logged |
