I have not yet experimented with this myself, but I have just checked, and according to WinAmp, the TRLE-samples are 22Khz, so I guess that might be where the problem is caused...

I don't know if the samples are 4bit stereo, so you'll have to figure that one out by yourself.

They have to be compressed in MSADPCM format.
Refer to the tutorial for more information about that.
