I have replaced two audio files (cd trigger)
But in game they stop after playing half the file...
Anyone had the same problem ?

(p.s. they're both ADCPM 44Khz stereo 4 bit files as they should be)

thnx

How does the size compare with the ones you replaced? I wonder if there could be a problem if the files are bigger than the existing ones.....

Hi Reb,

At first I wanted to replace only one file but that was played only half, then I thought there could be a problem when the file was bigger than the original so I cut it in half and replaced two files.
047 678 kB with new 480 kB
050 730 kB with new 520 kB

The new files are smaller than the original ones, do you think the new files have to match the original lenght?

Greetings
Pytr.

I am sorry I don't know the answer to this...plus I haven't played around much with changing sounds. Would it be too much trouble to, for experiemental purposed, make the new file the same length to see if it then plays without a? I don't think the length should affect it, but I don't know. I thought I read other postings by people who had changed the audio tracks without experiencing any problems....
